A new view of God and its effect on well-being...
... is the title of a lecture given by Phillip Hockley, He is a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship and has been giving this talk all over the world. New Bible Study Group forming in February -- The Book of Acts
![]() Interested in increasing your understanding of the Bible? Interested in seeing how the stories in the Bible relate to you now and are as relevant today as when they were written? This is our second Bible study group. Our first group examined the Gospel of Matthew -- often called The Disciple's Handbook -- and learned about the lessons of discipleship. The Book of Acts moves us forward from there as we consider: * What happens to a small group of apostles now their Leader is gone? * What moves them to spread the Good News to the world? We will use Madelon Maupin's Bible Study Guide and work with her probing and insightful questions. To learn more about Madelon and her Bible research and study aids, go to bibleroads.com. Our first meeting will be Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at 7:15pm. If you would like to join us, please sign up here. We look forward to having you study with us! |
